Codium is committed to achieving the highest standards of quality for our products, services, and solutions. We see this as an important building block of the value we provide, of our brand image, of our relationships with partner organisations and stakeholders, and of our continued existence.

Our value is delivered through an integrated set of processes and activities rather than individual parts of the organisation. This delivery can be direct or through our strategic partners.

Our Quality Policy and Management System is integrated and implemented through the active involvement of the entire organisation in complying with ISO9001 standard requirements in respect of the provision of software development and support services.

QUALITY GOALS

LEADERSHIP AND EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT

Quality Assurance Practices

Wherever possible and of meaning, Codium will ensure the below practices and outputs as minimum quality assurance requirements of a project:

Planning

User Story and Requirements Documentation, Process Workflow Diagrams and other scoping tasks need to be performed/created prior to the development of a new project or new functionality.

Monitoring and controlling

The Project Manager shall review the project burndown at regular intervals during the project to ensure that the project is on track. The Project Manager is responsible for keeping the client informed of progress at Client Review Meetings.

Documentation Requirements

All projects shall have prepared a User Story and Requirements document describing the functions, performance and the interface requirements of the software product.

Managing Quality

All projects shall have planning and performance of the software quality management activities required to ensure that the customer's stated and implied needs are met and that the software product is developed in compliance with recognised best practice.

Testing

All projects shall be integrated into Codium’s Continuous Integration (CI) system (Jenkins). Jenkin’s will be configured to run tests automatically before deploying to staging and production servers. This helps ensure the integrity of software during new feature releases.

Coding

Codium shall develop software that at least complies with Level 1 of the OWASP Application Security Verification Standard (ASVS). This will help ensure high quality of code to protect against potential security risks.

ISO9001 Certificate

The scope of certification covers the provision of software development and support services, with a particular focus on Cloud Applications, Database Development, Software Implementation, Business Process Automation, Big Data and Analytics Applications, Strategic Technology Advice and Internet of Things (IoT) services.
